Civil war

The somali conflict started in 1991, and it is ongoing. The problem begins many time before, the Federal Republic of Somalia had been ocupieed by diferent countries, such as the british, french and the italians. In the Second World War the british took the control of Somalia in 1941. then it was managed by the United Nations by the adminitration of the italians. The independence of the actual Somalia occurs in july first of 1960 by the union of the italians and the british. Aden Abdullah Osman Daar elected president in the same year. By 1963 the broke the relationship with British. The next year there were frontier disputes between Ethiopia and Kenya.

 

In 1969 Muhammad Siad Barre assumes power in coup after Shermarke is assassinated. After 22 years of power in 1991 Mohamed Sias Barre is detrone.  By 1992 the United Nations Marines seen people to help and ry to restablish the peace  and the order. some US army rangers were killed by Somali militias, the consequences were that many somalis die.

1995 the UN peacekeeper leave because of their failure at signing the peace.

 

in 2005 the were many attemps of peace but anyone was sign. There were 14 attemps by 2005. The following years were of failure to the country. The try to sign peace in diferent situation but we can see that till nowadays Somali is still in state of war, and it is getting even more violent.
